Interpretation

Interpretation is when you understand what the poem is talking about be interpreting different key words in the poem. 

Poetry illustrations allow you to create a personal interpretation of the picture. 


The significance of interpretation is that it is the basic idea of something the poem might mean. It is important to poetry because interpretation should be able to account for as many aspects and parts of the poem as possible. What it makes it better is that people get a chance to  put it in their own words. It adds creativity to the work.

 Extended Metaphor 


Its a metaphor that is introduced through out the poem and is related to the first metaphor.

The significance of an extend metaphor is that it explains more in metaphors what really is happening. It is important because it explains more in depth. It adds more metaphors to the work. It makes better because it makes the poem sound interesting.

The significance of poetry is that it shows emphasis in a poem. It is important because it explains things a lot better and in a more fun way. It adds understanding to the poem. It makes it better because it explains all the things in the poem.

The significance of the speaker is to bring the poem alive.
This is important because then you can here what the poem sounds like. What it adds to the poem is depth. It makes poetry better because it gives expression, felling, emotion , and the effects.

A symbol is a key object in which the poem revolves around.

There's a patch of old snow in a corner
That I should have guessed

The significance of a symbol is that it tells the poem. It is important 

because without it no one would understand what it is about. What a 

symbol ads to a poem is clarification and meaning. It makes poetry 

better because it reaches out to people and some may be able to relate.  

Couplet

Couplet

A verse of lines that usually rhyme and are the same length.

A couplet is a very little thing,
Yet give it the right words and it takes wing.

The significance of a couplet is to make the poem sound really well when it is a rhyming poem. This is important because if you tried to rhyme without using a couplet format it probably won't sound good. This adds neatness and clarity to the poem. It makes the poem better by having a nice rhyming format that sounds good.  

Stanzas

Stanza

A stanza is a group of words in a poem.

I Love To Write Poems                                                                 Stanza

I love to write

Day and night

What would my heart do

But cry, sigh and be blue

If I could not write

Writing feels good

And I know it should

The signifacance of the satnza is that it sounds like it flows when you read it outloud. It is important to poetry so that you wont have a long sentance like how you would in a paragraph. In gives the work a more enjoyable look that makes people want to read it. It makes the poetry better because it sounds really well.
