Personification 


A personification is a term that describe when the author gives human qualities to an non living object. 
The ocean waves lashed out at the boat and the storm continued to brew.


The significance of personification is to show a human trait to a inanimate object. It is important because it shows the reader a unique style of writing. It adds creativity to the work. It makes it better because it makes it interesting to read.
